The Basics

What is Rock the Pines?

Rock the Pines is East Texas's premier Christian music festival, presented by 89.5 KVNE. The 2026 festival takes place on Saturday, September 5th at the Mineola Nature Preserve in Mineola, Texas. One day, one stage, one unforgettable night of faith-forward music and community.


Who is performing?

The 2026 lineup features Switchfoot, Tauren Wells, Colton Dixon, Evan Craft, Terrian, Gio., Bodie, Trip Lee, Stephen Stanley, Jet Trouble, and Keenan Clark. Performances take place on the Main Stage and the Fan Zone stage throughout the day.


When does the festival take place?

Rock the Pines 2026 is a one-day festival on Saturday, September 5th. Campers may arrive Friday, September 4th for the on-site camping experience and Friday night bonfire worship. The main festival day is Saturday, September 5th.


Where is the festival located?

Rock the Pines 2026 is held at the Mineola Nature Preserve in Mineola, Texas.  Main Entrance (General Admission and parking): 1860 County Road 2724, Mineola, TX 75773.  The Mineola Nature Preserve sits along the Sabine River and is one of the most scenic outdoor venues in East Texas.


Is this a rain or shine event?

Rock the Pines IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. There are NO Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges.

Tickets and Pricing

What ticket types are available?

General Admission (GA) — Full day access to all performances, food vendors, activities, and the festival grounds. GA seating is bring-your-own lawn chair or blanket on the GA lawn.  Group General Admission (12+) — For groups of 12 or more. Minimum purchase is 12 tickets.  Preferred Seating — Reserved seating in the prime viewing area closest to the stage. Includes full festival admission. No GA ticket required.  Artist Meet & Greet Add-On — Add-on experience to meet Switchfoot, Tauren Wells, Colton Dixon, Evan Craft, Terrian, and Gio. Must be added to a GA or Preferred Seating ticket.


Are children free?

Children 8 years old and under are admitted FREE for General Admission. No ticket is required for kids 8 and under in the GA area.  Please note: Children 8 and under DO need a ticket to sit in the Preferred Seating section.


What is Preferred Seating?

Preferred Seating gives you a reserved chair in the prime viewing area closest to the Main Stage. It's a great option for guests who want a guaranteed, comfortable spot without hauling a lawn chair all day, or those who prefer less crowd congestion.  Preferred Seating includes full festival admission; you do not need a separate GA ticket. Children 8 and under do need a Preferred Seating ticket to sit in this section.


Is there a group discount?

Yes. The Group General Admission ticket is available for groups of 12 or more. Minimum purchase is 12 tickets. The discount applies automatically when you select 12 or more Group GA tickets at checkout.


Do I need to print my ticket?

You can present your ticket as a printed copy with the barcode or on your smartphone. We recommend downloading your ticket or saving your confirmation email before you arrive. Cell service in the area may be limited, so having your barcode accessible without needing data is a good idea.


What is the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges.  Purchase Protection is available as an optional add-on during checkout. It provides a 100% refund of your ticket purchase if you are prevented from attending due to a qualifying unforeseen circumstance such as illness, hospitalization, a family emergency, or other covered events. Terms and exclusions apply.

Getting There and Parking

Parking is available at the Mineola Nature Preserve. For general festival parking, use the Main Entrance at 1860 County Road 2724, Mineola, TX 75773.


How do I get to the Mineola Nature Preserve?

Main Entrance — General Admission and festival parking: 1860 County Road 2724, Mineola, TX 75773  Mineola is located in Wood County in East Texas, approximately 90 miles east of Dallas. Follow signs for Rock the Pines once you enter Mineola.


Is there camping at Rock the Pines?

Yes. Primitive camping is available at the Mineola Nature Preserve on the festival grounds. Camping is tent-only with no electrical or water hookups. Bring your own gear.  On Friday night, September 4th, campers are invited to join a bonfire worship experience on the grounds (weather and burn bans permitting).  All campers must hold a valid GA or Preferred Seating ticket for Saturday, September 5th.


Are there RV sites available?

On-site RV sites at the Mineola Nature Preserve are sold out.  Additional full-hookup RV sites are available five miles from the festival at the Mineola Civic Center RV Park. These sites include water, sewer, and electric hookups with 30 and 50 amp service, large level concrete pads with pull-through access, high-speed Wi-Fi, restrooms and showers, and family amenities. All campers must hold a valid GA or Preferred Seating ticket for Saturday, September 5th. Reserve your RV site on the Tickets page.


Are there restrooms on-site?

Restrooms are available on the festival grounds.


What if there is a medical emergency?

In the event of a medical emergency, locate the nearest festival staff member or security volunteer immediately. Emergency services will be on call for the event.

Attending The festival

What should I bring to the festival?

GA guests: Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating on the GA lawn. Preferred Seating guests have reserved chairs and do not need to bring seating.  General essentials for everyone: Your ticket (printed or on your phone), comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and light layers. September in East Texas is warm, so dress accordingly.  For campers: All camping gear, sleeping bags, tents, and personal supplies. There are no hookups at the primitive camping sites.


Can I bring a camera?

Personal cameras and phones are welcome. Professional cameras with detachable lenses, tripods, drones, and professional audio or video recording equipment are not permitted.


What items are not allowed?

The following are not permitted on the festival grounds:  Alcohol of any kind Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia, Weapons of any kind, glass containers, Drones or professional recording equipment, Animals (except approved service animals).  Security reserves the right to inspect bags and deny entry for any item deemed unsafe or disruptive.


Are pets allowed?

Service animals are welcome on the festival grounds. No other pets are allowed.


What food options are available?

Rock the Pines 2026 features a variety of food and beverage vendors spread throughout the festival grounds:  Smoke Sessions Barbecue, BBQ and a Prayer, Lakeview Tacos, ETX Lemonade, Honor Coffee Co., Ted Kamel Foods, C and C Concessions, and 5H Foods / Lost Creek.  From smoked brisket to street tacos to fresh lemonade and coffee, there is something for every appetite.


Is alcohol available?

Alcohol is not permitted on the festival grounds.
